ConclusionsWe have attempted to find a balance between simplicity and clarity in our system for grading the quality of evidence and strength of recommendations. Regardless of how simple or complex a system is, judgments are always required. Our system provides a framework for structured reflection and can help to ensure that appropriate judgments are made, but it does not remove the need for judgment.
