Study of the relationship of Arab chemistry and alchemy to the original and remarkable development of pharmacological science. The materials of a significant text on chemical technology and those found in pharmacological manuscripts and printed texts are described. The development of book-making together with the materials used (paper, parchment, inks, gold and silver dyes, dyes and glues) are surveyed. Formulas and a list of references are included.
