Accurate spacecraft navigation using radio metric data requires knowledge of the locations of the tracking stations. Through analysis of a variety of space–geodetic data, the locations of many DSN antennas are known with centimeter-level accuracy. Newer DSN antennas have had their positions determined by a combination of Global Positioning System measurements and conventional survey, with decimeterlevel accuracy. The locations of the DSN antennas are given, in a reference frame consistent with the Earth orientation calibrations routinely delivered to navigation teams. The uncertainties in the antenna locations are also described.
