----------------------------------------------------------ABSTRACT------------------------------------------------------------This research was conducted to predict the impact of sea level rise in coastal areas of Surabaya. The method used is the field survey and methods of Geographical Information Systems (GIS). The results indicate that the impacts of sea level rise of 1 m is going to inundate coastal areas in Surabaya area of 4,902.06 ha (15.02 %), in ten coastal districts. The largest impact is in the district of Gunung Anyar which is expected to inundate the tourist areas of mangroves.
