Lithostrotionid species of the Banff, Livingstone, Mount Head and Etherington formations of the southern Canadian Rocky Mountains are described and arranged according to zones. In ascending order zonation is: the Lithostro- tionella jasperensis zone of the upper part of the middle member; and the Litho- strotionella micra and Lithostrotion mutabile zones of the upper member of the Banff (Shunda); the Lithostrotion sinuosum zone of upper Livingstone; the Lithostrotion- ella bailliei n. sp. and L. astraeiformis zones of lower Mount Head, the Lithostrotion whitneyi zone of middle and upper Mount Head; the L. arizelum zone of uppermost Mount Head; the L. genevievensis zone of lower Etherington; and the Lithostrotion- ella stelcki n. sp. zone of upper Etherington.
