The Ideas and Methods of Spatial Structure-Oriented Urban Growth Boundary Delimitation——A Case Study of Hangzhou City

文章在分析现有城市增长边界划定实践和我国城市空间增长脉络的特殊性和复杂性的基础上，提出了以空间结构为导向的城市增长边界划定的思路和方法，探讨了结构导向的需求以及空间结构与城市增长边界的相互作用，反思了空间结构的塑造过程，并将这些概念和方法应用到了杭州市。进而，通过引入良好的空间结构，采用定量方法进行深入研究，同时运用刚性和柔性UGB，总结了长期UGB划界的细节。
Based on analyzing the existing practices of urban growth boundary (UGB) delimitation,and the particularity and complexity of China's urban spatial growth context,this paper proposes the ideas and methods of spatial structure-oriented UGB delimitation,discusses the demand for structure guidance and the interaction between spatial structure and UGB,and reflects on the processes shaping spatial structures.The paper then applies the concepts and methods to the Hangzhou city.Based on the estimation of Hangzhou's development scale,the paper proposes the urban spatial structure as well as rigid and flexible UGB.Furthermore, the paper summarizes details of long-term UGB delimitation by inducing a good spatial structure,engaging in in-depth study by employing quantitative methods and simultaneously applying the rigid and flexibility UGB.
