Question 4 We are a multicampus university teaching hospital, providing adult and paediatric services, including emergency/trauma, intensive care, women’s health including specialist maternity care, surgical specialties (eg cardiac, gynaecologic oncology, orthopaedic, gastrointestinal and neurosurgery), solid organ transplantation and haematology/oncology. We are the state referral service for haemoglobinopathies, and thalassaemia patients account for a lot of our RBC use. We do not provide a stem cell transplantation service.
