In 2018, the Task Force convened the writing committee to begin the process of revising the existing performance measures set for hypertension that had been released in 2011 (3). Setting thresholds to varying blood pressure monitoring intervals differentially affects risk estimates associated with white-coat and masked hypertension in the population.
