东桥蛇绿岩位于班公湖-怒江缝合带中段，利用SHRIMP Ⅱ技术对东桥蛇绿岩中的U-型蛇绿岩进行了研究。对东桥蛇绿岩中的辉长岩进行了Pb锆石年龄测定，结果表明，该辉长岩的年龄为187.3± 3.7Ma，代表了东桥特提斯洋盆的形成时代，为古构造格局和特提斯洋盆的演化提供了良好的年代学约束在研究的领域。
Dongqiao ophiolite is located at the middle segment of the Bangong-Nujiang suture zone.SHRIMP Ⅱ technique is applied to U-Pb zircon dating of the gabbro from the Dongqiao ophiolite.The result shows that the age of the gabbro is 187.3±3.7Ma.This age stands for the formation time of the ocean basin of Dongqiao Tethys and provides a well chronology constraint on the palaeotectonics framework and the evolution of the Tethys basin in the studied area.
