A Critical Analysis of the Regional Differences in Hainan Economical Development

本文通过对海南省20个区域单位的人均产出、人均固定资产投资和三种产业占比的主要素分析和聚类分析，将海南省经济划分为6种类型，并区分了海南省东部、西部沿海和中部地区的区域差异。研究结果将为海南区域优势整合提供理论依据。
Based on the Main Element Analysis and Cluster Analysis of the per capita output, per capita fixed asset investment and the proportion among the three industries of the 20 regional units of Hainan Province, the paper divides Hainan Province's economy into six types and identifies regional differences among the east, west coastal as well as central regions of the Province. Such findings will provide a theoretic basis for the integration of Hainan' s regional advantages.
