This work provides a comprehensive compilation of all renewable plant and animal resources and the substances derived from these. Featuring over 500 separate entries, it includes detailed descriptions of resources such as Jasmine, Waxes, Jojoba and Peanut Oil. Many entries are also accompanied by detailed illustrations. Standard technologies of isolation and derivatization of each resource are discussed, and their major fields of application, both classical and modern, are evaluated with particular regard to their economic aspects and future developments.
