Adrenal lesions causing hypertension can be localized by a scintigraphic approach. This approach, which is complementary to ultrasound and computed tomography can be used in both functioning cortical and medullary adrenal disease, including Cushing’s Syndrome, aldosteronism, and pheochromocytoma.
