The study and progress about preparations of microspheres with core/shell structure were reviewed in this paper, including seeded polymerization, macromonomer method, self-assembling method, and stepwise heterocoagulation method. The mechanism and factors in these methods were also presented. And microspheres with core/shell structure behave the excellent future in application because of the unique in the morphology and designable in the surface.
