The photoinduced depolymerization of poly(olefin sulfone)s was investigated. Poly(olefin sulfone)s possessing base-amplifying groups were synthesized. A photobase-generating compound was mixed with poly(olefin sulfone)s and irradiated with 254 nm UV light.
