During the Iron Age, the western side of the acropolis was occupied by a temple and a terrace related to it. Temple A1–2 had a tripartite plan with rooms along the sides. It was built on a deposit constituted by the materials belonging to two earlier superimposed temples of Iron I (A3.1–2). These had the same plan: a square hall with a podium nearly in the center and a façade in antis.
