Ethno-pharmacological relevance: Kanakasava is an Indian traditional Ayurvedic formulation containing Datura (Datura mete!), Vasaca (Adhatoda vasica), Dhataki (Woodfordia fruticosa) and Grape (Vitis vinifera) extracts as major constituents and used to treat pulmonary diseases including coughing, breathing difficulty and asthma.
