We introduce the dimension matrix of a bimodule complex and the trace matrix of a chain endomorphism of a bimodule complex, and give the Hirzebruch-Riemann-Roch (HRR) and Lefschetz type formulas for finite dimensional elementary algebras of finite global dimension. Moreover, we compare our HRR and Lefschetz type formulas with Shklyarov's HRR type formulas and Petit's Lefschetz type formulas for dg algebras.
