This work reports the synthesis of two different polyamidoamines (PAAs), by the reaction of piperazine (Pip) and cyclohexylamine (CHA) with N,N'-methylene bis acrylamide (MBA), which subsequently copolymerized with vinyl acetate (VAC) to improve the mechanical properties of the materials. The materials were characterized by spectroscopic techniques like IR, H-1 NMR, and C-13 NMR. Contact angle measurement data established the relative hydrophilic properties of the synthesized copolymers. From the weight of the thrombus formation with time and hemolysis assay, a conclusion could be drawn for the subsequent development of the materials for in vivo application.
