In this paper, we introduce a new subgradient extragradient method for solving variational inequalities involving pseudomonotone and Lipschitz operators in 2-uniformly convex and uniformly smooth Banach spaces. The convergence rate of the proposed algorithm is accelerated as we use a new step size rule to control the iterative sequence. Finally, we give some numerical examples to support our main results.
