区域和对流层O3的增加与气候变化、大气环境、人类健康和生态系统密切相关,大气光化学的非线性导致了制定O3控制策略的复杂性,因此,臭氧生产效率(OPE)是臭氧生产过程中的一个重要指标,它对制定O3控制策略具有重要的指导意义。本文综述了OPE研究的主要成果和认识,回顾了OPE的定义及其发展,总结了OPE的空间和季节变化,分析了OPE的空间分布特征,并对OPE的季节变化进行了分析。分析和讨论了影响OPE的几个关键因素; OPE是评价O3对VOCs和NOx敏感性的一个很好的指标,它主要受NOx和VOCs浓度以及二者的比值的影响,因此,OPE的研究具有重要的理论意义和应用价值。城市羽流的OPE值在传输过程中会发生显着变化,并且OPE的地区差异相当大。不同地区和不同海拔高度的研究报告的OPE值范围为1至246。郊区的OPE值高于城市站点,OPE的季节变化主要受VOCs和NOx浓度变化的影响,但对东亚地区OPE的研究较少,特别是对中国OPE的研究较少。建议开展OPE研究,通过OPE资料与模式研究的结合,加深对区域O3污染问题的科学认识,寻求有效的O3污染控制策略。
Increase in regional and tropospheric O3 is closely related to climate change,atmospheric environment,human health,and ecosystems.The nonlinearity of atmospheric photochemistry causes the complexity of making O3 control strategy.Therefore,strong attention has been paid to a few indicators that are helpful to making O3 control strategies.The Ozone Production Efficiency(OPE) is one of such indicators.Here major results and understandings gained in the researches of OPE are summarized.The definition of OPE and its development are reviewed;the spatial and seasonal variations of OPE are summarized;a few key factors influencing OPE are analyzed and discussed;some necessary future studies are pointed out.OPE has proved to be a good measure of O3 sensitivity to VOCs and to NOx.It is influenced mainly by the levels of NOx and VOCs as well as the ratio between both.Therefore,the OPE value of an urban plume can change significantly during the transport,and regional differences in OPE are considerably large.The reported OPE values from studies in different regions and at different altitudes range from 1 to 246.OPE values are higher in the suburban sites than in the urban sites,and higher in the remote and high altitude sites than in the rural and low altitude sites.The seasonal variations of OPE are mainly driven by the variations of VOCs and NOx concentrations.Very few studies have been focusing on OPE in East Asia,particularly in China.In view of the severe O3 pollution situations in some Chinese cities and regions,it is suggested to carry out OPE studies based on long-term observations at various sites,to deepen scientific understandings in the issue of regional O3 pollution by combining the OPE data with model studies,and finally to find effective strategies for controlling O3 pollution.
