Individual ascospores from dark clones of a southern strain produced only dark colonies. Asci from light clones produced either all dark or 4 dark and 4 light; one exception gave all dark and all light. Asci developed at the junction of light and dark colonies were similar to those of light except for an occasional 1:3 ratio.
