Asghar Tabatabaei Balaei is currently a post doctoral research fellow in the School of Surveying & Spatial Information Systems, UNSW. He received his B.Sc in 1998 and an M.Sc in 2000, both in Electrical Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology, Iran. He gained his PhD from the UNSW in 2007. His current research activities are focused on the characterisation, detection and localisation of sources of radio frequency interference in Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS).
