Begomoviruses; have devastating impact on the yield of many economically important crops around the globe. During field survey in 2016, typical symptoms of begomovirus infections were observed in green beans in district Hazara, Pakistan. We identified a new strain ofMalvastrum yellow vein Lahore virusin green beans for the first time in Pakistan.
