KGaA, Weinheim with 5 was performed for the thiols described in Table 1 in a 96-well microtitre plate, detection limits of less than 2.0 pmol/well were noted for GSH, Cys, and AET, and a linear calibration curve was obtained for each of these thiols up to 1000 pmol/well. Sensitivity, as expressed by the slope of the calibration curves, suggested that 5b was slightly more sensitive than 5a.
