1272 21 May 1966 Disease Resembling Infectious Mononucleosis-Kaadriainen et al. BlCALJOU1AL were found in the first two serum samples, taken before the surgery and on the seventh day from the onset of the fever. Later a gradual rise in the titre to high values was demonstrated. A cytopathic agent with the characteristics of a cytomegalovirus has been isolated from the urine in human fibroblast cultures.
