A speech prosody conversion system has been developed to help elderly people to enjoy TV/radio programs. This system has the advantages of: 1) converting prosodic features such as average voice pitch, intonation and speech rate, 2) maintaining individual voice features and the naturalness of the original speech, 3) usefulness for the development of a high quality text-to-speech synthesis system
