短角短角叶蝉Telmatochromis brachygnatus sp.n.被描述在坦噶尼喀湖的南部和中部。它主要通过其较小的嘴来区别于类似的临时支原体。在两个物种中都发现了形态上不同的种群。
Telmatochromis brachygnathus sp.n. is described from the southern and central parts of Lake Tanganyika. It can be distinguished from the similar T. temporalis mainly by its smaller mouth. Morphological distinct populations were found in both species.
