Coloring process in digital artwork production has a decisive influence on impressive quality of work. Traditionally, a user tends to take a lot of time for searching his/her ideal coloration. We propose a method enabling the user to easily find his/her ideal solution among huge color combinations and allow him/her to produce unexpected yet creative images. We developed an illustration production support system with a color exploration function based on the method and evaluated the system.
