This note aims to review the work done in the Photoemission Laboratory during the last decade, before the end of the former CTF2 (CLIC Test Facility 2) up to spring 2012. The emphasis will be given on the photocathode studies in the so-called co-evaporation (or co-deposition) mode. The results achieved with Cs2Te photocathodes will be presented and the preliminary results with Cs3Sb photocathodes will be highlighted.
