In a recent study of liquid He/sup 4/ (Wu and Feenberg, Phys. Rev. 122,739) the virial theorem was used to determine the range and strength parameters in several 6-n type interatomic potentials. Comments are presented on the criticism of the study by Hiroike (Prog. Theor. Phys. 27,342.). (W.D.M.)
