Dr Timothy J. Carroll is a physicist and professor of radiology on the Committee on Medical Physics at the University of Chicago. A former associate editor of Radiology, his research interest focuses on the quantitative imaging of neurovascular disease (stroke, atherosclerosis, aneurysm). He serves on National Institutes of Health (NIH) and American Heart Association study sections and has been the principal investigator on several NIH grants and continually funded since 2005.
