The vapor pressure of silver has been measured by the Knudsen orifice effusion method 750° to 1050°C using radioactive Ag110 as a tracer. The pressures are given by the following equations: Solid silver: log p = 8.887 − 1.402 × 104/T. Liquid silver: log p = 8.342 − 1.334 × 104/T. The heats of sublimation and vaporization are respectively, 64.1 ± 0.7 and 61.0 ± 0.2 kcal/mol.
