[Author's Note: I was a graduate student and faculty member at the State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNY/B) from 1968 to 1975. Before submitting my manuscript on the Oral Biology program at Buffalo, I sent it to Dr. Ellison for review. I was not surprised to receive over 10 pages of comments. I decided that this final version should be in the form of a dialogue, and inserted some of his comments, essentially verbatim, at appropriate points in the draft.
