We investigate the stability of a specific stationary solution to Boussinesq equations without thermal conduction in the flat strip Ω=T×(0,1)documentclass[12pt]{minimal} usepackage{amsmath} usepackage{wasysym} usepackage{amsfonts} usepackage{amssymb} usepackage{amsbsy} usepackage{mathrsfs} usepackage{upgreek} setlength{oddsidemargin}{-69pt} egin{document}$$Omega = mathbb {T} imes (0,1)$$end{document}. Explicit decay rates of the vorticity/velocity are given as well as the limit state of the temperature. Our method is based on time-weighted energy estimates.
