CONCLUSIONS Laser-illuminated fluorescence angiography provides high clarity and 20 contrasts vascular image with blood flow. Further, a laser providing strong blue light and weak 21 red light for excitation light enables simultaneous visual observation of fluorescent blood flow 22 and surrounding structures by the surgeon using a surgical microscope. Overall, these data 23 suggest that laser surgical microscopes are useful for both ordinary operative manipulations and 24 fluorescence angiography. 25
