Postmortem examination of a twelve-year-old dog with a history of relapsing paresis revealed widespread nerve enlargement. The hypertrophic nerves contained numerous onion buld formations and areas of mucoid degeneration. The clinical and pathologic features in this case were compared to those reported in inherited and acquired forms of hypertrophic neuropathy in man.
