Pavement management systems uses the systems approach to provide a unified treatment of pavement design, testing, construction, maintenance, evaluation, and restoration. This book presents the general framework for pavement management, and describes the component activities that are part of pavement management. The authors consider all the materials, economic, traffic, and climatic factors that affect pavements, and present techniques that can be used for analysis as part of the management operation.
