The theory of junctions introduced by the author in hisTheory of Inbreeding(cf.PBA, Vol. XIX, Abst. 173) and extended by O. H. Bennett (cf.PBA, Vol. XXIV, Abst. 777) is here presented in a more complete form, and now takes into consideration digenic internal junctions. The frequency of fixation and of loss of junctions is calculated for the first 10 generations of inbreeding, also the expected frequencies of external and internal junctions. The expected number and length of end and enclosed heterogeneous tracts are calculated for the 5th-40th generations and the probability of complete homogeneity for the 2oth-65th generations.
