Currently there is no adequate test setup to describe the pull-out behaviour of anchors in cementitious concrete for machine tool constructions charac terised by high requirements for geometrical precision and limited space for anchoring. Within the scope of this paper, a novel test setup was developed to examine the pull-out behaviour of different threaded anchors in cementitious concrete under realistic testing conditions. An ordinary concrete and an ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) were used. Apart from the influence of the type of concrete, the influence of the addition of micro steel fibres on the bond behaviour was investigated. In addition, a heat treatment was carried out on selected series. The tests were carried out on three different anchor types. The results show that the addition of steel fibres improves the bond behaviour depending on the type of concrete up to 53% and is necessary to prevent concrete blow out. A heat treatment led to an increase of 22% of the load bearing capacity. The results show that the use of ordinary concrete is not recommended for short embedment lengths and that good bonding properties can only be achieved with steel fibre reinforced UHPC.
