The phenomenon of twinning in sheep has occasioned considerable interest on the part of both the sheep breeders and those interested in the physiology of reproduction. As a result of tlieir observations over a long period of time, the practice of increasing the amount and variety of nutrients fed to the ewes some time before breeding has become part of the routine of an efficiently managed flock.
