theory of generalised Taylor expansions, the Euler-MacLaurin formula and the Gamma function. The topics of the book are mainly of an advanced undergraduate level, but they are presented in the generality needed for more advanced purposes. For example, functions are allowed to take values in topological vector spaces and asymptotic expansions are treated on a filtered set equipped with a comparison scale. This generality however, obscures some of the more everyday topics of mathematics, like differentiation and integration, and I found the treatment of specific subjects such as convex functions or the Gamma function easier reading.
