The uptake of 67gallium citrate by mycosis fungoides cells was assessed in three patients with varying extent of disease. In none of the patients did observable cutaneous deposits concentrate the isotope. It would seem that the gallium citrate scan is not suitable as an aid to staging of mycosis fungoides.
