Materials and MethodsThis retrospective analysis of telehealth development in VHA is based on discussions with key stakeholders, VHA telehealth documentation (from the VHA Telemedicine Strategic Healthcare Group [SHG], VHA Office of Care Coordination, and VHA Telehealth Services), review of VHA telehealth satellite broadcasts that took place between FY2000 and FY2014, and the author's personal recollections.
