A single aqueous staining soln. (0.5% phosphotungstic acid, 1% orange G, 0.5% anilin blue, 1.5% acid fuchsin) is applied to deparaffinized sections for 5 mins. A 5 sec. rinse in tap water and rapid dehydration provides adequate differentiation.
