「延辺当帰」 は約 70 年前に大和当帰を日本から中国東北地区に導入したものと言われている. 実際, 延辺当帰は化学的および遺伝学的に現行品の大和当帰に近似し, そのため大和当帰と同様に生薬原料として利用できることが期待されている. そこで今回, ベタメタゾンによる瘀血モデルマウスおよび冷水浸漬による冷え症モデルラットを用い, 当帰の代表的な薬理作用 (駆瘀血作用, 冷え症改善作用) について, 延辺当帰と大和当帰, および同じく現行品の北海当帰の比較を行った.
