城市空间和谐与可持续发展的研究日益受到美国和其他西方国家的关注。本文旨在对UGB的相关文献进行整理和分析，包括UGB的理论内涵、特征和驱动机理。分析了中国对UGB的响应，结果表明，如果没有创新，中国就无法应用UGB。我们应该对其进行正确的界定，采用新的界定方法，并在一致性管理和柔性控制方面进行必要的创新。
UGB is becoming an increasing concern in research of urban spatial harmony and sustainable development in the USA and other Western nations nowadays.This paper aimed at sorting and analyzing correlative literature about UGB,including its theoretical connotation,characteristics and mechanism for driving.Then the responses of china for UGB were analyzed and the results show that UGB can't be applied by china without innovation.We should give it proper definition, take new methods of delimitation and carry on some necessary innovations in the conformity management and flexible control.
