The formation mechanism of dioxins in gas phase at high temperature during waste incineration is presented, and the formation mechanism via de-novo reactions and precursors together with their theoretical models are also discussed. Moreover, the technology of dioxin control and the principal factors influencing the information of dioxins in municipal solid waste incineration have been provided in this paper.
