We have reported a circadian periodicity of mortality following exposure of mice to equal numbers of proliferatingDiplococcus pneumoniaeat different times of day1and these findings have been confirmed by other investigators2,3. We report here a daily rhythmicity in the susceptibility of mice to Coxsackie B3 virus.
