The red, soluble silver riboflavin complex has been studied by means of spec-trophotometry, pH titrations, the method of continuous variation, ultracentrifugation and analysis of the solid crystalline material. It is concluded that the number 3 hydrogen atom of the flavin is replaced by silver to give a highly polymerized complex containing silver and flavin in a 11 ratio. The system can be described approximately as consisting of a colloidal complex with a solubility product
