Provided is an inexpensive input device suitable for a wearable computer. Also provided is an input method suitable for operating a wearable computer. Further provided is a wearable computer provided with such an input device. An input device (100) for outputting a control command (gamma) to an external output device (40) is attached to a natural opening of a human body, and is provided with a sensor unit (10) which detects the shape change of the natural opening, and a control unit (20) which controls the external output device (40) on the basis of a detection signal (alpha) from the sensor unit (10). The shape change of the natural opening means a shape change which is caused by a predetermined movement performed by a person wearing the sensor unit (10) with the intention to operate the external output device (40).
